Montreux Jazz Academy

For its third edition, from March 3 to 10, 2017, the Montreux Jazz Academy will host ten talented young musicians in the vibrant Flon area of Lausanne, inside both music schools Haute École de Musique de Lausanne (HEMU) and École de Jazz et de Musique Actuelle (EJMA).

Every day as of 5 pm, the public will be able to enjoy the event free of charge through concerts, jam sessions, and workshops featuring the Academy's prestigious mentors: Yaron Herman (musical director), Trilok Gurtu, Patti Austin, Marcus Miller, Ziv Ravitz, and Kurt Rosenwinkel.

From March 3 to 9, from 5 pm to midnight
Evening program, open to the public and free.

Friday March 10 at 8.30 pm
Closing concert of all young talents and their mentors.
